There are strong indications that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are preparing to welcome baby number four, just eight months after having baby Chicago West via gestational carrier.
According to US Weekly, the couple will choose the surrogacy route again, planning to implant their last remaining embryo “soon.”
The news outlet quoted a source as saying that the embryo is male, which would mean two boys and two girls for the West family.
“The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 37, and the Grammy winner, 41, plan to have the embryo implanted in a gestational carrier “soon,” a second insider said.
The reality star has long expressed her desire to have a big family – which also includes North, Saint and Chicago – revealing that she would like just one more baby.
“I don’t think I could handle more than that,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians told Elle U.S. in April.
“My time is spread really thin. And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids.”
Bear in mind that the couple hired a surrogate to carry Chicago because the reality star suffered from placenta accreta during her previous pregnancies.
“It’s a really tricky thing,” she recalled of the process. “What sex do you put in? I just said, ‘Which one is the healthiest? Pick the healthiest one,’ and that was a girl.”
