Bucks’ Jabari Parker Tears Left ACL Again, And Will Miss Another Year

Milwaukee Bucks have announced that Jabari Parker has suffered a second ACL injury in his left knee and will be out for another 12 months.

The 21-year-old sustained the injury on Wednesday, as his left knee buckled when he was driving towards the basket. He had to be helped off the court by his teammates, the team initially thought he suffered a sprained knee.

However, an MRI exam on Thursday morning revealed an ACL tear, with the forward needing 12 months to get back to full fitness.

In his third year, Parker is averaging career highs in points (20.1), rebounds (6.2) and assists (2.8).

He also tore his left ACL during his rookie season and was able to return early last season.
